Obituary:
Mrs. Agnes Suber Counts, 91, of 394 Livingston Road, Pomaria, South Carolina, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, September 13, 2003, in Newberry County Memorial Hospital, Newberry, SC.

Born in the Pomaria Section of Newberry County, she was the daughter of the late Bunyon Suber and the late Fannie Blair Suber Williams.

She was a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church, Pomaria, SC. She was the Mother of the Church and she served as a member of the Senior Choir, the Deaconess Board, the Missionary Society, and the Pulpit Aid. She was a member of the Women’s Aide Society, Lodge # 10, and the Rock of Ages Chapter # 294, Order of Eastern Star.

Mrs. Counts was married to Mr. John Counts and to this union six children were born.

Preceding her in death were one daughter and three sons, Carrie C. Flemon, John Counts, Jr., Eddie O’neal Counts, and Henry A. Counts; two brothers, Mr. Willie Albert Suber, and Mr. Eugene Suber; and two sisters, Mrs. Alberta Crooks and Mrs. Carrie Lee Wicker.

Those celebrating her life and cherishing precious and loving memories are her husband, Mr. John Counts; two daughters, Fannie Mae (Homer) Cannon, Elizabeth C. (Rev. Derry) Rutherford; one sister, Mrs. Annie Laura Sims of Pomaria, SC; one
brother, Mr. James (Tomasina) Suber of Newberry, SC; 22 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
