Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Mae Cannon will be conducted on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be on Monday evening from 3-7 p.m. at Pratt Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Cannon passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her residence. Born in Pomaria, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Counts, Sr. and the late Agnes Suber Counts. She was a member of St. Mark AME Church were she taught Sunday School for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Homer S. Cannon, Jr. (Eleanor) of Rock Hill, SC; and John D. Cannon (Rena) of Newberry, SC; one sister, Elizabeth C. Rutherford (Derry) of Columbia, SC; one uncle, James Suber (Thomasina) of Newberry, SC; three granddaughters, one great-granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
