Funeral services for Mr. James “Pee Wee” Suber will be conducted on Friday, February 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will follow at a later date at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery 4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229
Mr. Suber passed away on Monday, February 11, 2019 at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence, SC. Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Bunion Suber and the late Fannie Williams. Mr. Suber was a member of Bethlehem Baptist where he served as an Usher until his health declined. Mr. Suber was a veteran of the United States Army. He was the last survivor of his immediate family.
Mr. Suber was predecesed by a daughter, Cornelia Vicky Dean; a son, Jackie Lindsay.
Surviving are his wife, Thomasina Dominick Suber; daughters, Rhonda ( Carroll )Trapp, Blair, SC; Step-daughters Kimberly Dominick, Passaic, NJ; Beverly Brown, Newberry, SC; sons, Russell Suber (Dallas) and Ben Wise, Columbia, SC; two devoted granddaughters, Kimyada Suber and Ajion Brown; seven sisters-in-law, and a host of friends.
